My current work draws from personal history and psychological terrain, developing themed bodies of work that explore memory, material, and meaning. I am presently developing my Spolia series, which centers on memory and change. The term spolia refers to objects intentionally reused in new contexts, altering or complicating their original meaning. I engage this concept both formally and personally. Through this work, I explore the idea that memory is never fully erased, but persists in fragments, traces, and echoes that bear witness to earlier truths.
I am a member of City Arts Cooperative Gallery in SF (828 Valencia, SF). My studio is located in Sausalito, California at the Liberty Ship creative complex.
