Curriculum Vitae
I’ve had a varied career starting with interest in and the confluence of music and the arts. This led me to the basement years of grunge before it was grunge. I wore many hats: artist, band manager, musician, record executive and student. I then relocated to San Francisco to focus on my art career with interest in sculptures and painting.
I took time out to raise a family. And then found my roots and returned. I am focused on creating a variety of themed work that sources material from my background and psyche.
I am currently processing how social media and AI amplify biases, complicating my search for common ground. I often use funnels to symbolize the amplification of these messages and thoughts, which emerge from the wide end as chaotic, unformed ideas. Red lines, symbolizing boundaries, are crossed, signifying our collective effort to respect and to forge human connections.
My studio is located in Sausalito, California at the Liberty Ship complex.
